Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone who creates or uses Power BI reports: business users, analysts, report developers, administrators and leaders. We offer courses for every level, from complete beginners to experienced developers.

None for Power BI Fundamentals, though basic Excel skills help. For the intermediate and advanced courses, you should be comfortable building simple reports and data models.

Most courses run for one or two days. Durations are indicative, and private sessions can be shortened, split across several weeks or combined into a longer learning path.

On-site at your office anywhere in Australia, live online through Microsoft Teams, at a Perth training venue, or in our public scheduled classes. Every format includes hands-on labs.

We keep classes small, so everyone gets personal attention during the hands-on labs. For larger teams we can run a private session or split the group across several sessions.

Yes. In private sessions we can build examples and exercises around your own data and reports, so your team learns on the problems they solve every day.

Yes. Every participant receives a certificate of completion. Our courses also cover the skills measured in the Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst exam, which you can book separately with Microsoft.

Our public sessions have a fixed price per person, including GST, with early-bird and group discounts: see our upcoming sessions. For private team training, it depends on the course, format and group size, so contact us for a quote. Private sessions are often more cost-effective for teams of four or more.
